A Need For Leads!

Planning an event like Mosaic Experiment takes the combined efforts of multiple departments, and with those departments, the Leads to run them. Typically, Leads stay on for a few years before handing their department over to someone new and right now, we're in need of some new folks to fill those shoes.

We're currently looking for Leads for the following departments to help even out the workload in organizing and putting on Mosaic Experiment this year:

Art Grants (Co-lead)

Conclave

DPW (Co-lead)

Fire Safety

Gate (Co-lead)

Greeters (Co-lead)

LNT (Co-lead)

Placement (Co-lead)

Promo (Co-lead)

Ranger (Co-lead)

Scribe

TACO (Parking) (Lead and Co-Lead)

Volunteer Coordinator (Co-lead)

Web (Co-lead)

For full descriptions of these positions, as well as the application to join the team, please visit https://www.mosaicexperiment.com/lead-positions.

All it takes is some Communal Effort and Participation and you can be a part of a great team that helps put together arguably the best Regional Burn out there!

Art Grants and Theme Announcement

What is a Burn without art? The time, effort, dedication, and creativity that is poured into the Effigy, Temple, and the many art installations and projects in all their forms are the backbone to what our event is all about.

In order to be more Radically Inclusive, Mosaic Experiment offers grants every year to help you bring your visions to life and share them with the community.

And right now, applications are open for your chance to secure one of these grants and be able to radically express yourself to the fullest.

Just head on over to https://www.mosaicexperiment.c... before the deadline on July 22nd and that project you've been dreaming of creating can finally become reality!

And if you're looking for inspiration to create from, the votes have been tallied and the moment you've all been waiting for is here...

The theme for Mosaic Experiment 2025 is...

Defy, Disrupt, Dismantle.

In the muddy tracks of tradition, we carve new paths. This year, we summon the spirit of rebellion—not reckless, but radiant. Not destruction for its own sake, but the sacred deconstruction of what no longer serves us.

Defy the voices that say “you can’t.”

Disrupt the patterns that keep us small.

Dismantle the systems that thrive on silence.

Mosaic Experiment has always been a place where rules are rewritten, roles are reimagined, and reality is re-forged in flame. Defy, Disrupt, Dismantle calls for creative insubordination—art that questions, confronts, and catalyzes change.

2025 Theme Voting Now in Progress!

We got a lot of great submissions for themes this year and have narrowed them down to five finalists! Now it's time for you, the community, to vote on what the theme for Mosaic Experiment 2025 will be!

Your finalists are:

Beyond the Mind's Eye

Company Town

Defy, Disrupt, Dismantle

Nautacult

Spiraling

Head on over to the 2025 Theme Voting page to read the full descriptions of the themes and cast your vote before the 8:00 p.m. EST deadline on Saturday, April 26th.

Reminder: Do not choose a theme option more than once. Your vote will be discounted.

Theme Submissions for Mosaic Experiment 2025 Now Being Accepted

You heard it right, we’re now accepting your submissions for what Mosaic Experiment 2025’s theme should be!

Will it be something serious? Something silly? Something thoughtful? Something absolutely chaotic and esoteric to a degree that we can’t possibly resist putting it into the hat for you to vote on?

That’s entirely up to you. One thing is for sure though, and that’s the fact that whatever you think the theme should be this year, you need to get a move on over to the submission form and submit your ideas before the deadline at midnight April 8th.

Need-Based Tickets Program Now Accepting Donations

It's more than just a donation—It's practicing our principles as Burners. Help complete the Mosaic by making sure everyone can join! Radical Inclusion is only possible through your Communal Effort.

Incredibly successful since 2022 the Need-Based Tickets Program relies on support through your donations in order to help provide tickets to those who need a little extra support in our community.

While we haven't opened the request forms yet for the program, we are now accepting donations via our PayPal account at NBT@mosaicexperiment.com.

Help make sure that everyone who wants to attend can be included at this year's Mosaic Experiment by being a rock star Burner and paying it forward.

Getting Through Gate

Hey there, I have super important stuff you should read!!

Squeezie returning with the last minute reminder of how to successfully pass through Gate without being routed into the Blackhole Zone or told you cannot pass.

To pass through Gate, you must have all your chevrons in order.

> First and foremost, you must have purchased a ticket! We do not sell tickets at Gate.

I really don't like turning people away for this reason, but it will be done.

> You must have a valid legal ID with a name that matches the name you purchased your ticket with.

Dead names are real and we don't want to cause you extra stress, so please reach out to Gate via email if this applies to you.

> You cannot bring: Firewood, Fireworks/explosives, Firearms, or Pets/Animals.

We are currently in a burn ban, so it's awkward to remind that we do supply firewood, but just in case... If you do bring any of these things, you will be asked to take them to a safe location off site before you're allowed admittance.

> If you arrive after Gate Close, you are NOT allowed to enter the event. There are consequences if you do.

If you know you will be arriving late, email Gate and we'll work with you!

There is a Late Arrival parking lot. DO NOT park on the road. There will be a sign lit up that denotes this area. You are free to set up your tent if it's more comfortable to sleep that way versus your car seat.

> Gate is closer to the main road than last year! We're not directly up on the road, but don't be surprised if you go "this feels off" when you pull up to us.

> Please remember we're all just volunteers and we understand that your travel may have been rough and you're the mix of excited/tired/stressed. Don't take it out on us...

Last but not least... Read the mf survival guide!!!! All of this information, and more (like Gate Hours), is found in it. We don't promise to give a quiz at Gate, but we haven't decided yet.

See you all soon!!

WHAT, WHEN, WHERE Is Ready Now!

THE WHAT, WHEN, WHERE IS READY TO DOWNLOAD AND PRINT!

That's right, the all-encompassing, semi-official agenda of sorts for all of the events that you and your theme camps registered with us has been finished and is now ready for you to see.

All in a conveniently printable PDF to help you beat back the FOMO demons and schedule everything you want to experience at the Experiment.
