Can you believe it? We completely sold out of tickets this year to Mosaic Experiment 2025: Defy, Disrupt, Dismantle!

With that many people on site this year it is vitally important that we get our Volunteer shifts filled up, especially for Rangers and Sanctuary.

We're currently needing Ranger Volunteers every night of the event for the midnight to 4am shifts and the 4am to 8am shifts. Rangers are there to help folks out should they need it, and spend the majority of their time just talking to people and getting to know them. What's better than making new friends and helping the community?

New this year as an Official Mosaic Department and resource for the community is Sanctuary, a place for solace when and if things get to be a bit too much or too intense to handle without help. Sanctuary volunteers are caretakers for the community that help bring a sense of calm and safety. It's also a mobility friendly department so if you prefer to sit while you volunteer, Sanctuary is the spot for you! We're needing coverage starting Friday night at 9pm, through Saturday and Saturday night and on into exodus so there are plenty of open shifts to sign up for, and at only 3 hours long, they won't take you away from the rest of the event for very long.

Additionally, Saturday is our Sanctuary Lead, Spoons' birthday, so please help out by gifting her that day off duty with your Volunteering.

2025 Final Deadlines

Mosaic Experiment 2025 is less than a month away and with that, there are some final deadlines we felt necessary to send out a reminder on:

Registrations - Tuesday, September 9th

This includes theme camps, large art installations, car/rv camping, fire, and early entry requests. https://www.mosaicexperiment.com/registration for the form.

What, When, Where Submissions - Tuesday, September 16th

Any events, workshops, boutiques, performances, etc., that you are planning to hold that you'd like the community to know about in advance so they can attend. The WWW will be published on September 23rd. Fill out your submissions at https://www.mosaicexperiment.com/www

Need-Based Ticket Donations - Tuesday, September 23rd

Online Volunteer Sign-Ups - Friday, September 26th

As Mosaic is a 100% volunteer run organization and event, we depend on the participation of attendees to volunteer a small portion of their time at the Burn to help keep things running smoothly. While volunteer sign-ups will be available at the Volunteer Hub at the event, we like to get as many of these shifts scheduled ahead of time so we aren't trying to conscript coverage in a panic. Effigy Needed! *URGENT*

Folks, the deadline for submitting applications for Effigy has been extended to Friday, August 8th at Midnight (so technically Saturday, August 9th), because we didn't receive ANY submissions for the entirety of the time that Art Grants have been open this year.

Now, we love waiting til the last minute as much as the next person, but there are artists who have been patiently waiting to hear back from us on if their grants are going to be approved, so we need to get this wrapped up so we can get people their money and they can do what they do best, create amazing art!

Whatever your idea is for this year's Effigy, even if it is just a big wooden version of a dumpster with the words, "Everything is fine," cut out on one side, we want to see it. Submit your Effigy Application before the deadline on Friday night by visiting https://www.mosaicexperiment.com/artgrants

Volunteer Sign-Ups Are Open!

That's right folks, now that you're all back from Lakes of Fire, you can really start planning for Mosaic Experiment, which means heading over to https://www.mosaicexperiment.com/volunteersignup and following the link to Volunteeripate, where you can sign up for your volunteer shifts.

You will need to have purchased a ticket to the event prior to being able to sign-up for a shift, so if you still haven't done so but want to make sure you lock in that Mobility Cart, Greeter, or Ranger shift of your choosing, get your tickets ordered!

Additionally, our Rangers will be offering two separate Virtual Ranger Training Sessions over Zoom, the first being Thursday, August 14th at 8:00pm EST, conducted by Ranger Spoods and Elemental and the second on Tuesday, September 2nd at 8:00pm EST by our lovable muppet, Ranger Snert.

What, When, Where and NBT Requests

The What, When, Where is now accepting submissions for all your fantastic events to be listed so that attendees can know about them. Head over to the WWW to submit yours before September 16th to ensure they get listed.

Need-Based Tickets are now accepting applications until August 19th! Once the application is filled out, you'll receive an offer pending available funds and your spot in the queue of requests. These tickets are to lend a hand to those who may need a bit of help getting a ticket this year, so we encourage you to only fill out the form and accept an offer if you are confident you will be able to attend the event. To help ensure that all of these requests get met, we're also accepting donations, though we've moved them over to our Volunteeripate site: DONATE HERE

A Need For Leads!

Planning an event like Mosaic Experiment takes the combined efforts of multiple departments, and with those departments, the Leads to run them. Typically, Leads stay on for a few years before handing their department over to someone new and right now, we're in need of some new folks to fill those shoes.

Tier 1 Tickets On Sale Now!

That's right folks, amongst all the controversy in the world right now, Mosaic Experiment, steadfast and true, is now selling Tier 1 Tickets for adults 18 years and older for $120 until July 28th (or if we sell out first), and young adult tickets (13-17) at $70 until September 23rd.
